Growing up!

Well Gabrielle is now sleeping in her bed! The past two days/nights it has only taken 1 time to lay her down and her to go to sleep, there is no fuss or fight about it at all! I cant believe it! We brush her teeth, read a book, say our prayers, give a kiss, hug, and high five! She gets to pick the color on her cool ladybug that projects stars all over her room, she can pick between red,blue, and green. Then thats it, she usually comes into bed with me around 6amish. Which is fine with me if she comes in earlier then that I put her back in her bed, so far so good. My next project is getting Kaiden in his bed, or pack n play something!

He is getting so big! We are working on sitting up, today he sat up for about 5 minutes all by himself balancing on his fat rolls I think haha! He sat up playing with Gabrielle and man did she love that, then I had him standing, and she wanted him to walk and follow her so bad! I cant wait for the day when he can crawl and follow her then walk. I will have my hands full but they will actually be able to play together and I want have to hold him or help he sit up all the time! It will be fun to see them interact together! Kaiden has thrush really bad in his mouth, from his ABX from his ear infection :( Its bad I called the doc, and they got him on some stuff, but now he has a TERRIBLE, VERY bad yeast diaper rash :( So hopefully we can get that gone soon too!

Yesterday, in the car, Kaiden was talking, then Gabrielle would look at him and laugh and he would laugh back they were having their own conversation! It went like this

Kaiden: da-da (and so on more baby talk)

Gabrielle: da-da Kaiden? Your daddy is in Iraq, ok?

Kaiden: more baby talking...dada, more baby talk
Gabrielle: yeah Kaiden he is in Iraq okay, yeah, uh-huh ok

So sweet brought tears to my eyes!

Things are going pretty well here, have a Moms Night Out tonight for dinner, so a friend Amber is coming to watch the kids. Tomorrow a playdate at the spraypark. Friday taking Daisy to the vet, for her tumor and other things..wondering what they are going to say, she has a huge squishy something on her right leg. My sister, Brooke is due in 4 days!! Cant wait to get that phone call that she is in labor so we can drive up there to see her and meet that baby! As well see my dad and stepmom! Thats really about it here, I cant believe its already the middle of June...its been almost 5 months since Matt left. Time has gone by fast, wish it would go by faster, and keep going and not slow down. Its a bittersweet time, becasue that means for time to go by fast the kids have to grow up faster! I am just ready to be a FAMILY again!

We had some crazy wind the other night, and I was doing dishes looked at the window and a "tree" fell from the sky! It was huge! And kind of scary!

Day 6

Gabrielle went to bed tonight in her bed....without a fuss! We brushed her teeth, read a book, put her in bed, said our prayers, gave her a kiss, hug, and a high five(she insists on that one). Told her goodnight and I was proud of her and she was going to be ok. That was over 2 hours ago :) I am soooo excited!

Trying again

June 13th 2008

Well, I am going to try this again, my friend Amy told me how to post pictures, so we are going to work on this again. Anyways, things are going here, its hot and we are playing in the water a tons. As well as doing alot of crafts inside to stay out of the heat. Kaiden is getting huge! He is now 17lbs 8oz, 5 months old, growing way to fast, in alot of 9months and 12month clothes! So oppostite of Gabrielle, she was 17lbs 10oz at a year! He is working on sitting up, on a schedule of sleeping, he goes to bed at 8pm every night. Just a cutie! Of course!

Gabrielle is a crazy 2 year old! She is having a hard time with her daddy being gone. In a few months time, she had a new brother, daddy leave, and she turned 2. And of course things havent been the same since. She is very smart, drama, girly 2 year old! I love her to pieces but man that girl is going to give me gray hairs, probably already have a few! She can now count in spanish to 6, loves her brother SOO much. Every morning she says Good Morning Kaiden boy! So cute! We are working on getting her in HER bed. We are on day 3. It has been hard, rough, exhausting! Takes 1-3 hours(me going and putting her back in bed) to get to go to sleep actually. When she wakes up in the middle of the night she comes in bed with me which I am fine with for now. As long as she starts there. We are going on....1 1/2 hours right now...tonight. Joy, would be easier if Matt was here so I could get a break and take turns, but we are managing.

We made some Fathers Day crafts for Matt this week! We went to the Dollar Tree and got tons of fun stuff! She LOVED it all and like making it to send to her daddy. And kept saying Happy Fathers Day Daddy! I got it on video it was so cute!

Kaiden loves to be naked! And he gets alot of nakie time! Here is him doing some tummy time. Matt says his cheeks are too fat to keep his tounge in his mouth haha!

Her new princess bed that our friends gave us before they moved! Gabrielle loves it, but when I tried getting her to sleep in her bed she told me that she wanted me to take it away and throw it in the trash becasue she didnt want to sleep there. haha
